Welcome to Club Flamingo -  Australia's family nightclub where kids rule the dance floor.

Every Saturday, resident host, songstress and DJ, The Flamingo and her wonderfully chaotic sidekick, The Blue Pony, throw the ultimate afternoon club party for kids and grown-ups alike at The Grand Electric.

Expect infectious music, outrageous characters, giant dance-offs, interactive games and jaw-dropping performances from incredible guest circus artists. Kids and their grown-ups can hit the dance floor and learn the signature Club Flamingo dance moves beneath lights, confetti, and bubbles. Sparkles are encouraged and big dance-moves are celebrated at this daytime nightclub, where everyone is a main character.

The Experience

  •  Age requirement: All ages! (Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult) This experience is designed for kids aged 5 - 12 and their adults, but younger and older children are welcome!  Children aged 2 and under don’t require a ticket.

  •  Dress code: Sparkles, sequins, glitter and your favourite dancing shoes encouraged

  •  Accessibility: The venue and dance floor are wheelchair accessible. There will be a chill-out section available for children who need a break from dancing.

Car: The best place to get dropped off at The Grand Electric is around the corner on Pitt Street.

Train: 7 min walk from Redfern Station. 9 minute walk from Central Station (exit 6). 10 min walk from Central Chalmers light rail station. 12 min walk from Surry Hills light rail station

Parking: The Grand Electric is located in Surry Hills where there is limited street parking available. The nearest streets with street parking are Pitt Street (2 hour parking until 10pm every day) and George Street. There are disabled parking bays at 103-109 George Street and 10 Pitt Street. The nearest parking garage is Wilson Parking – 55 Holt St Surry Hills, which is an 10 minute walk.

  • Not exactly! Club Flamingo is part circus, part dance party and part immersive family nightclub experience, part dance party and part circus. While there are spectacular circus performances under the spotlight throughout, everyone is encouraged to get involved, hit the dance floor and become part of the action.

  • Absolutely not—but we think you'll want to! Everyone is invited to join the fun, learn the Club Flamingo moves and take part in games throughout the show. Participation is always encouraged but never compulsory.

  • Only if you want to! Kids are encouraged to jump into the action, while parents can dance alongside them, cheer from the sidelines or simply relax and enjoy the show. Most adults find themselves joining the fun before long!

  • Anything that makes you feel ready to party! Sparkles, sequins, glitter, colourful outfits and your favourite dancing shoes are all encouraged—but there's no formal dress code.

  • No. Club Flamingo features a rotating line-up of guest circus artists, so every Saturday brings fresh performances and new surprises.n

  • The Grand Electric is located at 199 Cleveland St, Surry Hills NSW 2016.

  • The experience takes place indoors at The Grand Electric. However, the Courtyard Bar, open before and after the show, is located outdoors.

  • The experience runs for approximately 50-60 minutes.

  • Yes. The Courtyard Bar opens before the show and offers drinks and snacks for the whole family, including cocktails, mocktails, soft drinks and light bites. Themed treats and exclusive Club Flamingo merchandise will also be available to purchase. There is also a bar within the venue to enjoy as part of the nightclub experience.

  • Yes! Club Flamingo is the perfect place to celebrate. Birthday Packages are available for selected sessions. Visit the ticketing page for current options.

  • There is no on-site parking at The Grand Electric. We recommend using public transport or ride-share services for your journey.on
